Position Description and Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project and process control engineering including: Technical support of Mill operations; Control logic and HMI configuration and documentation; Project installation support including instrumentation specification, system architecture definition, coordination of A&E and Supplier Engineering resources, checkout and commissioning activities; process performance evaluation and optimization tuning; application of advanced control strategies; troubleshooting and support of E/I maintenance, over-site of associated process documentation (loop sheet, PID, Elec. Elem.); process simulation and training support.
Service contract management as applicable.
EDUCATION:
B.S. Engineering (Chemical, Pulp and Paper, Electrical)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 years process control engineering experience in support Power Boiler, Turbine, Recovery Plant, and auxiliary systems
KNOWLEDGE:
ABB (Bailey Infi 90) DCS; Allen Bradley (SLC, PLC5,Control Logics) PLC, PCVUE/ OPIT/ review HMI; NFPA Code; AC Drive systems; ACAD; Control Tuning and software tools (ENTECH); DCS Configuration Tools (Composer); PLC Logic Tools (RSLOGICS); Networks (OPC); Process and Controls experience(Power/Recovery Boiler and associated BMS logic, Turbine generating systems; Instrumentation (valve sizing and transmitter (specification/calibration).
