BSME, BSEE or 10+ yrs in Maint in Pap Ind.
Position Description and Requirements
- Directly responsible for effectiveness of all mill engineering and maintenance operations
- Provide leadership necessary to attain and surpass all mill engineering, maintenance goals
- Formulates capital plans for all mill and cogeneration facilities to improve mill performance
- Maintain a safe work environment and compliance with safety/environmental regulations
- Develop and manage capital budgets and general expenses
- Ensure all mill equipment is properly maintained
- Establish and maintain best maintenance practice procedures for the mill
- Perform reliability engineering function for mill operations
- Champion root cause failure analysis process
- Project management skills required to oversee mill plans, maintenance services and capital projects
- Identifying and addressing key reliability issues, removing constraints; explores new reliability technologies and determines if viable for the mill
- Manages Engineering and Maintenance Department, oversees contract maintenance and engineering
- Manages Engineering and Maintenance Staff; defines clear personnel goals and objectives that are updated and revised quarterly
Minimum Requirements:
- BSME, or BSEE required
- 10-15 Years engineering experience with management experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good administrative skills
Information Pertinent to Job:
- Extended work-shift and work-week as needed
- Travel as needed
- Capable of managing multiple projects at same time
- Knowledgeable Microsoft word, Excel, JDE, operating systems
